Sergio Aguero made an immediate impact in his Premier League debut with an impressive performance in his 34 minute substitute appearance.  After replacing Nigel de Jong in the 61st minute, Aguero was able to fire home a cross from Micah Richards for his first goal, just seven minutes after coming on.  This added to Edin Dzeko’s effort just eleven minutes prior, which came after a save by Swansea keeper Michel Vorm that bounced directly to the Bosnian striker.  Vorm made some acrobatic saves and managed to keep a clean sheet for the first 57 minutes before the Man City onslaught became too much.  Aguero was not finished with a goal though and two minutes later added an assist to his tally with an overhead flick to a waiting David Silva who calmly fired it home.  Aguero capped off his performance with a second goal, a lovely strike from 25 yards out to increase the margin to 4-0 in favor of Manchester City.  All the goals are here: http://www.101greatgoals.com/videodisplay/manchester-city-swansea-15079414/

Aguero’s impressive introduction into the Manchester City squad should serve as an example of what the team has in store for the rest of the Premier League.  The squad is already bursting with talent and with Carlos Tevez’ impending exit from City, Aguero seems to be fitting into the goal scoring role quickly.  With Aguero, Dzeko, and Yaya Toure leading the charge, Manchester City should make a serious title challenge this season.
